Kawasaki Takes on the Nürburgring & Sets 7m50s Time

2011 KAWASAKI ZX10R 7m50s Lap

The Nürburgring is one of the most famous circuits on the planet.

The most common portion of the Nürburgring is the Nordschleife (or northloop). This 14.1 mile section of the Nürburgring has attracted many challengers in almost every type of production vehicle ever made. Most of the commotion until now has been made about lap times made in 4-wheeled vehicles, with the Lexus LFA holding the best production-based car lap time of 7 minutes and 14 seconds.

This video showcases a lap time that although some 30-40 seconds slower than the LFA is quite impressive. And we can only speculate as to what will happen now.

Kawasaki has essentially issued a callout to every single motorcycle manufacturer in the world.

Who will respond?
